Making It Happen!

Taking Action.

The Centennial Lending a Hand Foundation is busy living our values and working towards our mission. We’re proud of our accomplishments and excited about our upcoming events. Taking action is what we do, but we couldn’t do it without your continued support.

Graceful Oaks Youth Ranch.

Graceful Oaks Youth Ranch offers youth educational services to help adolescents prepare for the workforces, as well as mentoring programs to guide them towards academic success in high school. Their Empowering Youth Leadership Program offers an immersive journey for 6th – 12th graders to cultivate leadership, ranch skills, and cowboy grit.

The Foundation’s donation will help a child from the Fostering Kids for Life program participate in Graceful Oaks Youth Ranch’s four-month program. This program provides weekly animal therapeutic sessions learning how to cultivate healthy relationships and move past their pain, business and leadership training preparing the youth for the workforce, and internship opportunities to receive higher-level hands-on training in managing business.

Table of Hope.

Table of Hope provides nutritious food and support to those who are in need and reside in in Weld and Boulder counties.

“Thank you for your very generation donation. We are thrilled to have your support. Through your donation we can provide not just nutritious food to those in need, but also provide the ability for them to become more self-sufficient and gain hope for the future. Your generous support also helps to make our community a great place to live.” – Sandra McLatchie, Director

Slammin’ Famine.

The Slammin’ Famine event is a fun, high energy event to pre-pack meals for children in other countries. The Foundation in cooperation with Centennial Lending sponsored over 50 volunteer hours and donated $1,000 in cash to Feed My Starving Children who host the event in Northern Colorado.

“It always feels great to know you’re making a difference in the lives of others simply be volunteering a few hours of your time. They crank up the music and it’s a fun team event with a bit of competition too. I always look forward to this event.” – Autumn Harris

Aurora Federal Credit Union.

The Foundation provided a technology grant allowing Aurora Federal Credit Union to upgrade equipment directly tied to member service and satisfaction.

“While the grant will be used to specifically gain and install new technology, it will tremendously impact our members’ experience by reducing our current card wait time of 7-10 business days and if that occurs in the event of fraudulent activity, the inconvenience to the member will be drastically reduced.” – Andrea Sargic, Vice President of Member Services.

Sooper Credit Union.

The Foundation provided a technology grant which will assist Sooper Credit Union in upgrading their loss mitigation process.

“This upgrade will lead to increased efficiency, create self-service options for members, allow automated communication with industry partners, and provide more opportunity to communicate with members in need of assistance. ” – Andrew Villareal, Assistant Vice President
